Our vision
The Green Allotments vision is to strategically increase the provision of allotment gardens by creating new not-for-profit allotment sites.
Green Allotments buys land and creates new allotment sites. We are a charity. We work for public good, not for profit or personal gain.
What we don't do
We do not create ‘mega sites’ of hundreds of allotment plots.
We do not make a profit. We are always for charity and never for profit.
We do not plan the design and layout of a new allotment site until we have written to neighbouring homes and landowners, so that they have opportunity to share their ideas and thoughts with us.
We do not begin any work on a new allotment site without the consent of the Local Planning Authority.
